Registration

After registration you will receive an invoice/ a formal booking confirmation. Only after crediting the registration fee by transferring the requested amount to the congress account, registration will be completed and the offer will be binding. Please also register any accompanying person by name to enable us to produce corresponding tickets for the Evening Event on 17 September 2007.

There will not be an official deadline for registration, but please note that only a limited number of people may attend the Evening Event on 17 September 2007. Tickets will be granted on a first come – first served principle.

Contracting partners to the participants are the organiser of the event as well as the organisers of any highlights of the social programme. Conventus merely acts as an agent to negotiate these agreements and does not, in any case, oblige itself to the participants.

Annulment

Cancellation of attendance and reimbursement of the total of the registration fee is possible until 15 August 2007. A handling fee of 20 Euros will have to be charged in this case. After 15 August 2007 annulment will not be possible. If not paid already, the participant will be charged the total amount of the registration fee.

Social Programme and Evenings

Changes in programme are subject to the organiser. You will receive a formal booking confirmation for all booked program items. Tickets and any congress documents will be delivered on site. Meeting places for the different excursions will be published onsite at the check in desk. Although a minimum number of participants will be needed to accomplish excursions, there is only a limited number of tickets available for any agenda highlight within the social programme. In case registration for an excursion does not reach the minimum number of participants needed, it will be subject to the organiser to cancel the programme item at short notice. Registration fees will then be fully reimbursed on site. Additional registration or registration on site can only be accomplished according to capacities.

Rebooking / annulment of social programme items are to be submitted in written form and are free of charge until 1 August 2007. In case of cancellation after 1 August no claim for refund can be made. Registration for social evenings is binding towards the organiser. Conventus does not assume liability but acts only as broker on this ground. Reimbursement of already ordered tickets is not possible in any case. Tickets and congress documents will be handed out on site.

Liability

Conventus only assumes liability in case of intention and gross negligence. Solely the organiser of the respective event will assume liability for performance of any engagement and for possible shortcomings. Participation in any social program is carried out at one’s own risk.

Place of Execution, Jurisdiction, applicable Law

This agreement and the contracts based upon shall be governed and construed in accordance with German law excluding the Place of performance and payment for all obligations arising from the legal relationship between the parties is Jena. Each party agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction for Jena.
