The sessions are sheduled for 3 full days. In line with previous conferences in Magdeburg (2008) and Milwaukee (2010) three major themes:

Theme 1 will deal with recent advances and methodological issues in resting state data analysis.

Theme 2 will cover the physiological and physiocal background of low frequency fluctuations including electrophysiological correlates, the impact of physiological noise and insights from pharmacological challenges.

Theme 3 will focus on applications using resting state fMRI with a specific focus on psychiatric and neurological diseases. Sessions with an expected mean duration of 2 hrs will include 4-5 speakers each, and a specific emphasis is made for active discussions during the sessions. Additionally plenary evening lectures will be featured.
