As well as free papers and posters on an array of topics, the programme will also include symposia on rhinoplasty and breast augmentation, (with an update on the advice surrounding PIP implants), from invited international and local speakers.

This year also sees the inaugural symposium sponsored by John Potter, a late Newcastle colleague, who pioneered surgery for children with cleft lip and palate. The symposium will cover all aspects of cleft management, including adult revisional work.
