In its decision of May 12, 1998, the Hamburg State Court held that the responsibility for the contents of links referred to in one’s own Internet presentation might rest with the owner of the site, where the link has been referred to. This responsibility can only be discharged, according to the State Court, by expressly dissociating oneself from the links made reference to in one’s Internet presentation. We like to emphasize that we have no control whatsoever over the design and content of the links we refer to in our own Internet presentation.
