Jena InTResT trains young scientists in modern and progressive technologies in reproductive sciences. Under expert supervison, a group of 25 international Ph.D. students and post docs will learn theoretical background and practice hands-on clinical approaches and scientifc methods, which will be fundamental for their future innovative investigations. The methods include in vitro fertilization procedures as well as experimental and laboratory techniques, such as specialized state-of-the-art applications in PCR, RNA interference, fow cytometry or microscopy.

Participants will be completely subsidized: No course fees, free accomodation and full board. Trainees will need to apply and a committee will select and invite the best candidates. Jena InTReST will be organized in the city of Jena in an annual interval and, in 2012, will be a satellite event of the Joint Congress of the American and the European Societies of Reproductive Immunology.

The 3rd Jena-InTReST will be held under the auspices of Germany’s largest scientifc society in the feld of reproductive medicine – the DGRM. Since the DGRM is dedicated to promote scientifc and research activities in this feld, it is the society’s pleasure to support this innovative training program for young scientists and researchers aiming for a career in ART.
