Abstract submission

Contributions
Abstracts should fulfill the following criteria:
- Theoretic/conceptual, empirical studies, and experience papers are welcome alike
- It can hand in one Abstract per Speaker. The number of authors on one abstract should not exceed five persons.
- Abstracts can be submitted in English and German. Please indicate in your submission whether you prefer holding the presentation in English, German or whether it the language does not matter.
- Abstracts should not exceed 2,000 words. Please avoid extraordinary formatting as well as characters not included in the ASCII character set.
- We suggest that the theoretic/conceptual and empirical studies abstracts should use the following outline.
- Problem statement (Research contributions and objectives)
- Theoretical Basis
- Research Design (Methodology)
- Analyses and Results
- Conclusions (Implications for entrepreneurship-research and -practice)
- Tables and figures should be submitted in two separate files not exceeding 2 MB. Please refer to the tables and figures in the text as tab.1, tab.2 ... or fig.1, fig.2...
Review process
Selection will be based on a "double blind-Review". Each abstract will be sent out to at least two reviewers for comment. A selection committee will decide which abstracts are invited for presentation at G-Forum 2011 based on the comments of the reviewers and programmatic fit.
Selection and evaluation criteria for scientific papers are:
- Use / relevance for entrepreneurial research and –practice
- Conceptual strength
- Methodical approach
- Originality / novelty
- Intelligibility
Selection and assessment criteria for practice-oriented papers are:
- Corporate Task / Goal
- Procedure steps and task sharing
- Methodology used
- Results
- Transferability to other start - ups and SMEs
We expect to inform authors of the acceptance of their abstracts no later than End of August, 2011.
