Details

Pieter Rein ten Wolde performed his PhD under the guidance of Prof. D. Frenkel at the FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics (AMOLF). During his PhD, he used computer simulations to study pathways for homogeneous nucleation. After his PhD he moved to the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied in the group of Prof. D. Chandler. In 2001 he moved back to AMOLF, where he set up his own group. The aim of his group is to develop new numerical techniques to study biochemical networks.
